Congressional Candidate Waters On Biden State of The Union: “Partisan Promises with No Solutions”

PROVIDENCE, RI: Last Night, President Biden took to the podium for his first State of the
Union Address. There, he addressed the Russia/Ukraine conflict, as well as Inflation, Taxes, and
several other issues.

Today, Allen Waters, Republican candidate for Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District,
commented on President Biden’s Address.
“President Biden’s address was simply a wish list of partisan promises with no solutions for the
American people,” Congressional Candidate Waters said.

“Although he covered inflation, the main issue affecting the working American families, he
provided no direct path to job creation, supply chain improvement, or lowering the cost of living,
such as reducing regulation or improving trade policies with foreign nations.”
On Infrastructure, President Biden reiterated many of the policies he attempted to implement
with the failed Build Back Better bill last year.

“Biden’s infrastructure plan is an example of Washington failing to deliver,” Waters said.
“If President Biden’s initial infrastructure bill wasn’t loaded with wasteful partisan spending on
pet projects, the bill would have passed both houses and been a success to triumph.”
Moving forward, Waters noted that President Biden’s address underscores the need for “balance”
in congress so American issues can be solved for all.

“President Biden’s address is a call to action that we need more balance in Congress, not partisan
puppets who blindly follow the President’s agenda, but independent thinkers and problem-
solvers who put all of the American people first,” Waters said.
